Some products warn or help you cleanup spyware/malware after you have a problem, using DNS Redirector prevents such nonsense before it happens!
DNS Redirector also speeds up the load time of many websites, especially when using dialup or cellular Internet connections.
DNS Redirector Easy was a seperate installer based on DNS Redirector v6.4.9 but has been discontinued since the release of v7.x
DNS Redirector v7.x can still be installed on individual user PCs, and can automatically retrieve the real DNS server from the local DHCP server.
To use a locally running instance of DNS Redirector, set the network adapter(s) to use 127.0.0.1 as the only DNS server.
Ask your IT person or contact support for help installing DNS Redirector v7.x on the local machine.
License:
Each license purchase is for use in one working location (one server).
For IT consultants or other systems integrators; the correct way to license software is to have the end-customer purchase it directly
in their name. You may not resell or bundle the software without prior written approval.
Since DNS is critical to the operation of any network, and we don't want to aggravate system administrators,
there are no activation or renewal techniques built into the full version.
The software does not 'phone home' at any time with the exception of voluntarily using
updater, of which the only function is keyword list retrieval.
