To install the service for the first time, run dnsrsvc-install.bat and follow the on-screen instructions.
When DONE! appears go to... Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > open "DNS Redirector" Set Startup type: Automatic - or do this via command-line: sc config dnsredir start= auto
Optionally... On the "Recovery" tab set all three drop-down boxes to "Restart the Service"
Then Start the service - or do this via command-line: sc start dnsredir
- Use Scheduled Tasks to run at logon under the System account 2000/XP/2003: Control Panel > Scheduled Tasks Vista/Server 2008: Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler
...with these methods, define the program as C:\DNSREDIR\dnsredir.exe and the start in or working directory as C:\DNSREDIR
